User’s guide:
1.before use
(1) After the battery arrives, please check the abnormal packing box;
(2) When the battery reaches the use place, please open the box to check the appearance of the battery (without acid leakage, rupture), whether the battery quantity is correct and whether the accessories are complete.

2. Installation and connection
(1) When installing the battery, it should be easy to check and replace, and installed at the lowest possible position.Although VRLA batteries can be used arbitrarily, reverse charging should be avoided.When the battery is inverted and overcharged, the electrolyte may leak out of the safety valve.
(2) Pay attention to the material and shape of the battery connector, and the contact degree between the connector and the battery, the connector and the electrical equipment.The contact will also affect the battery characteristics.
(3) The battery shall be fixed to the equipment and shall not move freely to avoid unnecessary vibration and impact.The battery is not fixed, and may cause battery damage, or reduce the electrical conductivity of the connection.
(4) Avoid placing the battery next to the instrument that produces a heat source (such as a transformer).When the battery is placed next to an instrument that generates heat sources, the temperature inside the battery will rise, thereby shortening battery life or creating so-called "thermal runaway"."Thermal runaway" often occurs when using a high charging voltage and (or) charging at a higher ambient temperature, the charging current gradually increases, causing the temperature in the battery to rise again, forming a vicious cycle, and eventually leading to the battery scrap.

(5) Do not place the battery next to the instrument that produces sparks (such as switches and fuses), and do not move the open fire close to the battery.When the battery is overcharged can produce flammable gas, sparks will ignite flammable gas.
(6) When multiple batteries are used, first connect between the batteries, and then connect the battery to the charger or load. Note that the positive electrode of the battery is connected to the positive electrode of the charger or load.If the polarity of the battery is connected contrary to the polarity of the charger or the polarity of the load, it may cause explosion, fire or damage to the equipment, which can seriously damage personal safety.
(7) The conductor between the battery and the electrical appliances should have sufficient insulation and flame retardant.If the insulation is not strong, the heat generated by short circuit (or overcurrent) discharge may cause burning, smoke or fire.Severe severe are the to in severe injuries.
(8) When a large number of batteries are connected in series, pay attention to high pressure.
(9) Do not bend the terminal, and try not to weld directly on the terminal. When welding is inevitable, please contact our company first.
(10) When the battery is connected to the charger or to the load, disconnect the circuit first.
(11) The battery shall not be placed in a sealed container. When the battery is placed in containers, bags, bags and other similar items, there must be exhaust holes.When the battery is overcharged, the flammable gas that it will produce can cause an explosion.

3,When the battery is in the process of transportation and storage, due to the self-discharge, the battery capacity must lose, it is necessary to fully charge the battery before use.No effective charging or severe overcharging will affect the battery output capacity.The battery should be replenished before use. The supplementary parameters are as follows:

充电方法

充电参数〔在 25)

恒压

控制电压范围:
2V
电池:2.43V~2.50V

4V电池:4.87V~5.00V;

6V电池:7.30V~7.50V; 8V电池:

9.73V~10.00V

12V电池:9.73V~10.00V;

4, daily charging
(1) Understand the new charging methods and charging parameters at any time.An appropriate charging method, can make the performance of the battery is fully reflected.(2) Do not place the battery in a place where there is direct sunlight to charge.The battery temperature will rise too high, which may produce overcharging phenomenon.(3) Do not charge the battery in a place where there is a heat source or heat accumulation.
(4) The charging time shall reach the time specified in the manual, or reach the time when the charger indicator light shows the charging result.If the battery is not charged enough, the battery life will be greatly shortened.
(5) Avoid often charging fully charged batteries, which will shorten battery life.
(6) For charging and discharging recycling batteries, they shall not be continuously charged for more than 24 hours, otherwise the battery will be damaged.
(7) Avoid parallel batteries in the charging and discharge cycle.When the battery is charged and discharged in parallel, it is easy to produce an imbalance, thus shortening the battery charge and discharge times.
5, discharge
(1) Determine the discharge termination voltage according to the size of the discharge current. The relationship between the discharge current and the proposed discharge termination voltage, please refer to the "discharge characteristic". The discharge voltage should not be lower than the proposed discharge termination voltage.When the discharge voltage of the battery is below our recommended termination voltage, it is possible to generate overdischarge and damage the battery performance.
(2) It is strictly prohibited to discharge the battery excessively, and the battery should be charged immediately after the discharge.Even if the discharge voltage of the battery is not lower than the recommended termination voltage, but not timely charging and storage, it will also damage the performance of the battery.If an overdischarge (and weak current discharge) protection circuit (or instrument) is not provided on the device, the battery may generate overdischarge or even restore the initial capacity after charging.When the battery is stored in the discharge state, it is very difficult to recharge due to the increased internal resistance.
6. Inspection and maintenance
Periodic checks and maintenance are recommended.
(1) In the process of floating charging (or trickle charging), measure the total voltage of the whole battery, such as the irregular (or wrong) output reading of the charging equipment, and be sure to find out the reason for the deviation from the normal voltage range.When the total voltage is lower than the normal voltage, the battery reduces its capacity due to insufficient charging. When the total voltage is higher than the normal voltage, the battery loses its capacity due to overcharging, and may cause "thermal runaway".
(2) Check any abnormal phenomenon of the battery. If there is damage (such as crack, deformation, electrolyte leakage, etc.), replace the new battery immediately.With dust found, it should be cleaned up.If the abnormal battery continues in use, there will be a decline in battery capacity, electrolyte leakage, smoke, and even an open flame.
7, battery replacement
(1) When the battery appearance or performance is abnormal phenomenon, the battery should be replaced.If the battery are arranged in series, the whole battery should be updated immediately depending on the actual situation.
(2) When charging (floating charging or trickle charging) in a temperature not more than 25℃, the battery should be replaced before the battery reaches the expected service life.As the temperature rises, the replacement period should be shortened.The extent of battery performance decline depends on the floating charge life and temperature rise, especially when the ambient temperature is above 40℃, battery life will be much shorter than room temperature life expectancy.
8, storage
(1) Store the battery in a stable position, far away from the metal and other conductive substances.
(2) The battery must be kept with sufficient electricity.
(3) When the battery needs to be stored, the battery should be removed from the device, or disconnected from the charger and the load.The battery shall be kept at the lowest ambient temperature as possible.When a battery-equipped device does not have an instrument to prevent overdischarge (including weak current discharge), once the battery is not removed from the device (or disconnected the circuit), the battery may produce overdischarge and may not restore the original capacity after charging.If the battery is not stored in low temperatures, the self-discharge rate will increase and the battery performance is reduced.If stored in wet environments, terminal corrosion may occur.
